How the Active Power Filter works
Main Components:
  • Bypass Module (Thyristor Module)
  • Inverter Module (PCS Module)
  • Supercapacitor Module (including Charging Module)
  • STS Controller Module

Real-Time Monitoring & Fast Detection:

Continuously monitors grid voltage, frequency, and phase. When a disturbance exceeds the preset range, detection and compensation calculation are completed within 2 ms.

Energy Injection & Instant Compensation:

During compensation, the DVR dynamically injects energy from the supercapacitor, maintaining a smooth and stable voltage waveform at the load side.

Flexible Energy Management & High- Efficiency Operation:

The system operates with high efficiency and minimal energy loss. Under normal grid conditions, the load is supplied directly through the bypass circuit. After compensation, the supercapacitor is rapidly recharged within seconds, enabling the DVR to handle consecutive voltage disturbances.

Intelligent Communication & System Integration:

With RS485 and Ethernet connectivity, the DVR transmits real-time operating status, event records, and power quality data to energy management or monitoring systems. It supports remote monitoring, energy analysis, and predictive maintenance, transforming the DVR from a passive protection device into an intelligent grid node.
