Static Voltage Regulator (SVR)

P2 Power Static Voltage Regulator (SVR) is designed to stabilize fluctuating mains voltage and provide a controlled, reliable power supply to sensitive electrical and electronic equipment. The regulator continuously monitors the incoming supply and rapidly corrects voltage deviations to maintain a stable output.

With fast voltage correction and output regulation accuracy of up to ±1%, the SVR is suitable for installations where frequent voltage variations, phase-to-phase differences, and sudden supply disturbances can affect equipment performance.

Its fully electronic regulation architecture enables rapid correction without mechanical regulating components, making it suitable for applications where voltage stability, equipment protection, and operational continuity are critical.

Protective Features

Input Protection

A suitably rated input circuit breaker can be incorporated to provide protection against excessive current and short-circuit conditions.

Automatic Bypass

In the event of a detected internal fault or specified abnormal operating condition, an automatic bypass arrangement can transfer the load to the available mains supply, depending on the selected configuration.

Controlled Start-Up

The regulator can be configured with a controlled start-up function that gradually brings the system into regulation, helping minimize undesirable voltage conditions during energization.

Surge Protection

Optional surge protection can be incorporated to provide an additional level of protection against transient overvoltage events.

The exact surge withstand and let-through performance should be selected according to the applicable protection architecture and tested product configuration.

Performance Benefits

Fast Voltage Stabilization

Rapid electronic correction helps minimize the effect of sudden and frequent changes in incoming mains voltage.

Reduced Downtime

By correcting voltage disturbances quickly, the system can help reduce nuisance trips, process interruptions, and equipment shutdowns caused by unstable supply voltage.

Stable Output

The SVR maintains the output voltage close to the configured reference value, helping sensitive equipment operate within its required voltage range.

Extended Equipment Life

Maintaining a more consistent supply voltage can help reduce unnecessary electrical stress and contribute to longer equipment operating life.

Equipment Protection

Stable voltage can reduce electrical stress on sensitive electronic systems, control equipment, automation hardware, and precision machinery.

Improved Process Reliability

Stable power supports consistent operation of automated machinery, control systems, production equipment, and other critical loads.
