P2 Power Output AC filter are used to inhibit variable frequency drive surge and reduce high frequency switching on the output between the VFD and the motor. P2 Power Input AC filter are for variable frequency drive input. It is designed to reduce the input side current harmonics. The current harmonics result from the variable frequency drive AC to DC conversion.
